Media Center
Welcome
Welcome!
Welcome to the North Vista Elementary Media Center webpage. Our media specialist is Mrs. Catherine Simpson.
Our library is open every school day from 8:00 a.m -1:55 p.m. A fixed/flexible schedule is used in our library (See "Schedule" for more information). Our schedule allows students to use the resources that the library has and check out books based on their classroom schedules.
If you have any questions about the media center, please contact Mrs. Simpson at csimpson@fsd1.org. I look forward to working with you this school year!

Mrs. Catherine Simpson
My name is Catherine Simpson. I graduated from Francis Marion in 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. I graduated with my degree in Media Library Sciences in December of 2020. I have been teaching since 2014, both in my own classroom and as a long-term substitute. My career has led me through Lee County, Darlington County, Florence 3 and Florence 1 schools. My travels have allowed me to learn from many different colleagues.
I have been at home in the library since 2019. I love being a part of the North Vista team and I look forward to helping you in the library this year!
